I was familiar with the work from some of the authors included in this collection of excerpts, so I couldn't wait to read it. These teasers are so engaging that I kept forgetting they were only samples and I kept turning the pages for more. These are great excerpts that gave me a whole new set of authors to follow, and a new column in my TBR pile. Fun.
